  3.      Thank you for trying out the shareware version of PAL.  Shareware
  4. allows you to try before you buy.  Once you decide to keep PAL and continue to
  5. use it, you are obligated to pay for it.  See the license information in
  6. PAL.DOC, the manual for the program.

  8.      You are encouraged to share the shareware disk with friends, upload the
  9. files to bulletin boards, and otherwise expand the circle of persons who can
  10. try out PAL before buying it.  It will be helpful to others if you upload the
  11. file PAL2.INF separately from the three ARC files.

  13.      To install PAL, simply place this disk in any floppy drive, change to
  14. that drive, and then type PALINST.  Follow the directions from there.

  16.      After the installation program is complete, you will find a file by
  17. the name of PAL.DOC.  This file is essentially identical to the printed manual
  18. which accompanies the full commercial version.  You can keep it on your disk
  19. for review on your computer at any time, or, if you like, you can send it for
  20. printing with the DOS command:  COPY PAL.DOC PRN.

  22.      One caveat about sending the file to your printer:  Some printers do
  23. not accurately print the characters # @ ~ { } [ ] ^, which are used in
  24. PAL.DOC. If you are unsure about your printer, then connect it now and press
  25. the key combination SHIFT-PRTSC, and compare the output to what you see on the
  26. screen.
